Sligo Sea Barn caters for large groups, sleeping up to 18 guests. The barn is a luxury, five star, Failte Ireland approved self catering property with stunning sea view, along the Wild Atlantic Way.

All six bedrooms (four superior suites, a double suite, and a single suite) have spectacular sea views and room decor.

DETAILS

Our blue-grey Scottish cow, Bluebell, was more reserved than the other cows. She was very dependable, always in her place in the byre. She would never raise a foot to kick us while we were milking her!

The Black Rosie Suite

DETAILS

Black Rosie was one of our most treasured dairy cows. Her huge eyes and pure black shiny cost ensured she got pride of place in the cow byre. This was Black Rosie’s favourite place for 19 years.

The Linty Superior Suite

DETAILS

Linty was a huge red cow with a long white face reminding us of the sun. Her 2 long horns (almost like antlers) allowed children to climb up on her back as if she were a horse but without the saddle. What a bit-of-fun we had!

Jolly was a real pet dairy cow. She would run to the fence each day she heard the return of the school bus, knowing she would be hand fed by us. Curiosity and her friendly nature meant she would follow us anywhere we went.
